THE VISIT OF THE VALJEVO CHESS CLUB - A FREINDLY GAME IN BELGRADE

The BIA Chess Club hosted in Belgrade the chess club form Valjevo, by the name of " Sveti Nikolaj " (Saint Nikolai). In a clear-cut victory, the guests from Valjevo won 10:2, in a two-round game, playing on six chess-boards. This was not surprising, as their team was headed by the great Dragoljub Velimirovic, as well as Mihajlo Stojanovic, the international chess-master, top-rated by Serbia & Montenegro standards, and Borko Laithaim, also an international chess-master, who was the most pleasant surprise on the Serbia & Montenegro Championship in Pancevo.
